STI-DB1070 - Vibration/Strain/Temperature/ Attenuation & Loss

The STI-DB1070 is a distributed optical fiber multi-parameter sensing system, based on Brillouin and Rayleigh optical time-domain analysis technology, it can simultaneously measure multiple parameters such as temperature, strain, and vibration only with single optical fiber, and can monitor long distance.  Can integrate OTDR module to measure attenuation and loss at various points on the optical cable.

 

●High precision: high-precision monitoring capabilities on vibration, strain and temperature.

●Real time: can realize real-time monitoring of the strain of optical cables, and promptly detect changes of vibration, strain and temperature for the optical cables.

●Easy installation: It can be directly deployed on a single optical fiber to achieve multi-parameter monitoring.

Anti interference: It has good anti-interference capability and can work in harsh environments such as high-voltage power transmission.

●Remote monitoring: It can remotely monitor the vibration and strain status of optical cables, and transmit and manage the data via the Internet, making it convenient for users to perform remote monitoring and management.

 

●Data Analysis: This system can process and analyze the collected data, generate reports and early warning information to support the decision-making.

The STI-DB1070 is a new type of monitoring system with a wide range of applications, especially suitable for online monitoring of submarine optical cables, icing and swinging overhead cables, oil and gas pipelines, and underground pipelines.

1. The sweep step size can be selected between 1 to 20 MHz;

2. The specific strain measurement range is determined by the optical cable;

3. The frequency demodulation method is offline demodulation, which can be displayed online. 200h is the highest demodulated signal response frequency; the actual test frequency is higher than 200Hz;

4. The measurement time depends on the length of the sensing fiber, quickest can be 30s;
